10 Cool WordPress Plugins for 2015-2016
We already shared some cool WordPress Plugins just a few days ago but since WordPress has a vast list of new and old plugins, I decided to share some more plugins with you guys.
Today I will share few of the most important plugins that are a must use for your WordPress Blog.
Akismet
One of the most downloaded plugins on WordPress. It is created by WordPress developers to help their users in fighting against Spam. It comes with every installation of WordPress so you really don’t need to install it manually.
As a blogger it is a big botheration when you start getting spam comments on your blog and you really don’t have the time to deal with them. When I started my blog I regularly got 500 spam comments and a few real ones. It was a big botheration for me to exclude spam comments from real ones therefore I re-activated Akismet and installed a few other plugins to make sure that my blog is safe from spam.
Akismet will work great with a few other anti-spam plugins such as WP-SPAMSHIELD.

JetPack by WordPress.com
As the name describes Jetpack is a plugin to empower WordPress .org users. Jetpack will provide all the features and luxuries to WordPress .org users which WordPress .com users were enjoying first.
It has its own contact form, its own comments, it includes a CDN which basically just allows your images to load faster.
You can also set-up a site subscription service, share your post automatically on your Social media websites and much more.
But the one downside of Jetpack is that it is a little bit big and bloated and a lot of people complain about it. If you will move to the settings of Jetpack you will notice that Jetpack has a lot of things to offer and most of them are enabled by default therefore it makes your blog a little bit more heavy in terms of loading.
You just need to disable every single feature you do not want, to decrease your blog’s loading time or if you are just installing it after reading this article then make sure that you only enable the most important and necessary features of Jetpack otherwise your blog will become a big fat elephant which will be tough for any browser to load.
Limit Login Attempts
A plugin which is concerned with your Blog’s security. Limit Login Attempts will prevent any hacker from doing multiple try outs of accessing your Wp-Admin area. So if someone messed up with your login 3 or 4 times then he will be locked out.
Or I should say it will prevent any user(even you) from doing multiple sign-in attempts. This will help you to protect your blog from hackers because normally hackers try 20 to 30 times to access Wp-Admin area of a blog. However, if you will prevent them from doing that you will be able to improve your blog’s security much more.
Limit Login Attempts was last updated about 3 years ago but still this plugin is a must use.

NIX Gravatar Cache
NIX Gravatar Cache actually caches the gravatar and helps things to speed up a little bit. This plugin will not make a major impact on your blog but it will be great for your blog to use this plugin in terms of speeding up your blog’s load time.
Optimize Database after Deleting Revision
Optimize Database actually optimizes your database and cleans it up. It will make your blog’s internal structure(SQL Database) clean and free from spam thus you will notice a sudden decrease in your blog’s load time after installing this small but powerful plugin.
Remove query strings from static resources
Since we have already talked a lot about speeding up a blog so here is one more plugin to add in the inventory. This plugin will specifically help your website to improve loading time which will be great for your Search Engine Ranking.
UpDraftPlus-Backup/Restore
One another great plugin to backup your blog’s data which is totally full featured and is complete free. Though there is a premium version available but you don’t need to buy it since there is always enough space available for free users to store your data.
Use Google Libraries
Google Libraries allows your website to quickly load Javascripts on your blog that are common. Especially when you are using Google Adsense then you must use this plugin. It will help your blog to load Google Adsense ads quickly and if I will say that Google Libraries will help your website to run a little bit more faster and snappier then I wouldn’t be wrong.
So if you have got a lot of Javascripts on your website then using this plugin will be a good idea.
W3 Total Cache
One of the most used Cache plugins on WordPress plugin inventory. I can say that without using this plugin my Blog would be slow as a turtle, Perhaps my blog’s speed would be the half of the speed my blog has right now.

MailMunch- Increase your email Subscribers by over 500%
I don’t support the claim that the developers of this plugin has made but indeed MailMunch has provided a great tool to increase your blog subscribers.
A few years ago having these Pop-up Subscribe us form plugins wasn’t that easy. You had to pay a good amount probably 50 to 100 dollars to buy a plugin that offers such features.
But now since the technology is getting widespread and people have so many options to choose, Mailmunch has just launched a gem.
You can easily fit a Pop-Up anywhere on your blog to convert your traffic into your blog subscribers. And the best thing about this plugin is that it is completely free.
You can still use several premium plugins to increase your blog subscribers.

I knew most of the plugins you mentioned in this article but not the “Optimize Database after Deleting Revisions” plugin. It looks good, has been recently updated and with 4.8 stars out of 5 on the WordPress repository. Thanks for pointing it out.
These all are very good plugin
Thanks for sharing
Have heard most of the plugins though I dont have idea of the some mentioned here like optimise database ones. Have bookmarked this article and really want to install all the ones mentioned here.

Hello, dear thank you for such a great list of wordpress plugins, please share top useful plugins for new web beginners and I want to know that how much plugins we can install to the wordpress blog as people says that more plugins will slow down the speed of blog. Kindly share some image seo plugins for my site and can u share plugin for whatsapp sharing. Like facebook and twitter.
You should only use plugins that are necessary or important for your blog. Always avoid plugins that are not useful. More scripts on your server will cause low efficiency and may slow down your blog speed.
My favorites wordpress plugins:
WordPress SEO by Yoast
WP Mail SMTP
Google XML Sitemaps
Jetpack
WP Super Cache
Akismet
Also i prefer Facebook comments or generic wordpress comment system then Disqus.
