Google Places:-
Google Places is a great source to index your business in Google database. This helps you by many means,

- Your Business is registered in Google database,
- You can find buyers online,
- You will gain customer’s believe in you because they will find you as a reliable source to purchase things and
- You can promote your business and announce some upcoming updates regarding your business which will help you to get buyers for a product which is still not offered for sale. I mean some pre-orders for your upcoming product, All you need to do is to promote it sensibly.
To use Google Place go to www.google.com/business/, Sign Up for an account and Add your business there. You must provide all the valid information about your business to Google. Especially the address of your business must be correct.
An Example: Suppose you have a shop where you sell some sports stuff like Footballs and cricket bats. Your business is located in Australia, Then any person in Australia who searches for Buy Footballs online or buy Cricket bats online will find your website in Google top search results if you have done everything right. However, if you have selected some specific location for your business, For instance: You have chosen Sydney as your workplace then your website will be Google’s priority for searchers from Sydney.
Google Webmaster Tools:-
After getting your brand listed in Google Business/Place, You need some extra work to do. Go to www.google.com/webmaster/tools, Add your site and go to Search Traffic and click on International targeting, click on country and select the country where you want to offer your product. For Instance: If you are from Australia you must select Australia because obviously if your business is in Australia you will like to target people from Australia to sell them your product.
