If you are just thinking to begin a blog, then you must first decide that what platform you should choose. Because many other blogger who had chosen their blogging platform without any know how are screaming on their selves that why didn’t I used that platform for blogging or the other software is far more better than mine, why did I used blogger to start my blog or tumblr etc. So surely you will not want to be amongst those frustrated bloggers who are unhappy with their blogging platforms but they cannot do anything because of the data which they have saved on their current blogging company’s database.

I personally believe that WordPress is the best blogging platform amongst any other platform.And I give you my word that if you choose WordPress for Blogging you will never be disappointed. WordPress not only allows you to choose different colorful themes but they have a vast variety of Plugins and widgets and all that stuff is just in a single platform without any cost which is really incredible. Its like a box where all the treasure is packed, all you need to do is to just open it.

I have used Blogger, Tumblr and other free to use Blogging softwares but non of them was up to the mark as WordPress is. Some didn’t had good themes, some didn’t had good widgets, some didn’t had the plugins I want, some were not good for SEO. In the end I finally make my self convinced that WordPress is going to be my platform for my new domain.

That is the most attracting thing for me. I mean you can just install any theme on your WordPress blog with a simple click. Some are free and some will cost you some money but majority of themes are free. Although If you have some extra cash in your pocket you can buy some paid themes for really cheap prices on internet which will look really awesome on your Blog. Normally WordPressers use Genesis themes on their blogs. Genesis is little expensive but if you have some budget you should try it out. Or If you are short of cash then try some other websites who sell WordPress themes online for a very cheap price somewhere like 4 dollars to 10 dollars.

2) FREE TO USE PLUGINS

Really that makes WordPress different from others. You have a ton of free to use plugins. You can use any of them for free REALLY!. You can use plugins for Blog statistics, for custom sidebars, for pop-up forms, for widgets, for social sharing bars, for Subscribe us forms and much more. Even if some plugins are for sale, their free trials are available.

3) GOOD FOR SEO

WordPress is best for SEO, even better than Blogger. WordPress allows you to install some plugins that will help you in optimizing your content for good SEO. They allow you to put tags and set categories for your posts and pages which are very helpful for Google spiders to inspect your niche’s background and criteria.

4) EASY TO USE

WordPress is the most easiest software to use amongst all other Blogging softwares. They have some easy guidelines to help you or you can just go to their forums and ask anything which you want. Also there are tons of tutorials on Youtube which may help you to become a WordPress Guru.

5) GIVES YOUR BLOG A PROFESSIONAL LOOK

Because of the features WordPress has, Even a newbie to Blogging can make a professional looking Blog. As I said earlier WordPress is the easiest amongst all. So lets say that if you will make a Professional looking Blog on Blogger in 10 weeks then you may make a Professional looking Blog on WordPress in less than a day. Because on Blogger you really need to mess with all those HTML codes and CSS codings etc. But on WordPress you don’t need to because everything what you will like on your Blog is already set for you. All you need to do is to make some search and clicks.

SOME EASY TIPS:-

1. Emphasis more on quality of content instead of quantity.
2. Optimize your blog but don’t over-optimize it.
